OK, lots to report because I failed in my duties to daily blog. She's still been chewing at every point I went, I increased to 03 ml of the 1/1 solution then went with no dilution and straight medication and started at 03 ml of that. Today we are bumping again to 04 ml of the medication. I only bump once every two two days if I do not see improvement. She is still full of personality and shows no sign of any side effects, fingers crossed.
She has also become hip to the ways of me giving her the me, which was in some peanut butter on a craft stick, so now I just put it in her formula towards the end of her feeding. Pic taken today after eating her formula...

It has been a while since my last post and even longer since this all started and I only have positivity to share. Puff is getting .02 ml of meds every morning, and only in the morning. So she gets one dose only, every morning with her breakfast, no evening dose and she is doing so amazing. The reason I chose to try cutting out the evening dose was because she was falling from her sleeping perch during the night, and most nights. Because I'm a very light sleeper I would hear her flap and get up to find her on the bottom of her cage looking stunned and a bit dazed. After moving her into my room to sleep so I could better observe, the conclusion I came to was the med was puting her into a very deep sleep and she lost balance control and/or fell as she was relaxing so much into a deep sleep. After stopping the evening dose I was no longer having this issue and she continued to leave all of her feathers in tact. One other thing I decided to do is every other Sunday she gets a med fre...
Today is Wednesday August 24th and Puff had her yearly check up and we also did a full blood panel to have a starting point for everything. Tomorrow I will get the results of all these tests. So at 5 pm I gave her the first dose of halidol, I then watched her for the next half hour and there was no effect at all. I will continue this dose for the next two days and see how it goes, I will slowly increase every two days until I get to what is the desired effect. I am following the protocol set up by Dr. Jeffrey Jenkins DVM, with some assistance from a wonderfully nice and educated friend, Don Scott of The Chloe Sanctuary for Parrots and Cockatoos.  This is a picture taken of her on Saturday, to show her current FDB which includes the legs, chest and neck. she chews her feathers, she does not pluck. She also does not chew her skin.
This is a picture of Puff today, I'm trying to keep close tabs on the chewing so I know whether or not I need to increase again or stay where I'm at. I'm currently at .06 ml of the 2/1 solution. She's still eating well and showing lots of wonderful personality.
